Buying a bicycle is one example of when you should shop locally and purchase from a recommended establishment. I've now bought eight bikes from Wallington Cycles and cannot fault the service at all. My first experience was when I bought a bike from a well known car parts retailer that was basically falling apart and they refused to fix it. Wallington Cycles sorted it out and because of this, when I wanted another bike I went to them without a second thought. Anyone that owns a bike knows that you always want another one and I bought seven further bikes from them. Yes, you can buy cheaper on the internet, but if there are any problems you would have to sort it out yourself. The shop is family owned and run, and that means a lot, as they have their reputation and livelihood at risk.

Have shopped here for about 20 years or so when they were Action Bikes. Brought a few Scotts when they were selling them. They are always friendly and give me sound advice. I would much prefer to support this independent business than one of the big chains because I feel they try to cater to their customers and care about what they do. Always the first port of call for me. Definitely recommend them
