I Cannot recommend Dr Zhang highly enough. She assisted me throughout my IVF giving me both western and eastern medical advice. A very intelligent and experienced practitioner and extremely personable.

I attended Altermedic to treat me for stress, anxiety and depression and was prescribed a course of acupuncture and Chinese herbs. The acupuncture was very relaxing and slowly over the coming weeks I noticed my mental health and physical health had improved. I would highly recommend this treatment.

I recommend Dr Zhang wherever I go! I'm 37 weeks pregnant (9 months) and just a week ago I had REALLY bad pain in my muscle by my ribs on left side set on by a violent coughing fit that made the muscle cramp and tighten completely. I was in so much pain that I couldn't move without having extreme pain jabs and the pills from hospital didn't help. I went to Dr Zhang for help. I know she specialises in fertility and pregnancy (and she's a doctor who used to work at Sct Georges). The day after my first treatment of it I could breathe deeply again and move around without extreme pain! I just had a second session because it is still a bit sore. I'm still amazed by the result after just one day! I originally came to her last year because I have PCOs and didn't get my period naturally. After going hard on PCOS diet I got slight light bleeding every 2-3 months but no ovulation... I started weekly acupuncture mid April 2021 and end of July I also started taking her Chinese custom herb blend. In August I had much more bleeding and a month after I got my period again! And soon after that I found out that I was actually pregnant!! (I didn't think that would be possible for another couple of years! If ever...)

Altermedics treatment has significantly improved the quality of my life, reducing inflammation, pain and increasing mobility such that I no longer need to take medication on a daily basis. I have no words to describe how grateful me and my family are. My health was damaged by a road traffic incident two and a half years ago that left me in constant pain (level 8 out of 10!), with root nerve and soft tissue damage that also affected my mobility. My GP had expressed concerns over the side effects to my health from daily medication but that risks were too high for surgery. I had visited Altermedics local clinic several years earlier, as had some of my friends over time (all by word of mouth recommendation because we had beneficial outcomes), so I went back again to see what she could do to help me. I am delighted to say that more recently a consultant neurologist advised that I am doing the right things (acupuncture and stopping medication). Thank you Dr Zhang!

Dr. Zhang has performed five sessions with her "magic needles". I came to her to see if acupuncture would help alleviate the pain I was suffering as a result of tennis injury. I was suffering with 'Golfer's elbow' (medial epicondylitis) which is a condition that causes pain where the tendons of your forearm muscles attach to the bony bump on the inside of your elbow. The pain might spread into your forearm and wrist. Golfer's elbow is similar to tennis elbow, which occurs on the outside of the elbow. It's not limited to golfers. Tennis players and others who repeatedly use their wrists or clench their fingers also can develop golfer's elbow. The first session had an immediate effect on my condition but Dr. Zhang knew that further treatment would be necessary if the pain was to reduce. Anyway, I played tennis throughout December and am pleased to say that at the year end the elbow pain has virtually gone; so much so that I will return on an ad hoc basis to ensure the pain and the condition do not return!? A great result and a super end to the year. Patience and a good doctor like Dr. Zhang who takes a real interest in you and you are condition are all you need.
