What a thoroughly pleasant visit we had to your tearoom today. The two carrot soup and toast we had were absolutely delicious .... the cake was adorable, the earl-grey tea fantastic and the scone .... well what can I say except it was scrumptious.... we will be back - for sure. The venue was truly wonderful - lovely staff, lovely atmosphere - even the music was delightful. Thank you. Update: Just made another visit to the Tearoom and I understated the quality of the scones - they are not just scrumptious - they are yummy, yummy scrumptious. The soup was delicious as was the Jaffa Cake. Good job I don't live next door - I'd be in there all the time. Good job folks !

Very much enjoyed a brunch here this morning. Tasty food, well served in this elegant tea room, a relaxing atmosphere. Non dairy options easily catered for. I shall be visiting again.

I would like to just say what an exceptional experience it was to have Afternoon Tea in The Wallingford Tea Room. I have taken out our nanny for her Birthday with some friends to enjoy it and everyone agreed that it was amazing! What a service too! We had been looked after like a King! Staff very attentive. Amazing cakes, selection of sandwiches and warm scones, very soft just yummy! First Class!! Kid-friendliness: Very attentive staff, excellent service!

We booked afternoon tea for two with prosecco. It was absolutely fabulous. All the ingredients were super tasty and freshly made. The scones, served warm were clearly freshly made and divine. The selection of sandwiches and petit fours were extensive. They were kind enough to box up the petit fours as so much over our 3 hour sitting! We chose the loose black tea and we went through 4 pots between us. Great that it is locally sourced too. A really relaxed atmosphere. I would highly recommend. Kid-friendliness: The staff were very accommodating to the baby. They provided high chairs and toys. They were very friendly. Be mindful that the tea room is up narrow staircase so will need two hands for any pram/pushchair BUT worth it!
