ESP installed and commissioned our ASHP together with under floor heating and all the other appurtenances 18 months ago. They worked well with our builder and were on-time and budget. Since then the installation has been largely trouble free but recently we had cause to make a telephone call on a Sunday morning. The personnel (Nick, Pat, Julio, Nick (plumber)) dealt with the issues in good time (with electronics so integral to the whole installation there is an inevitable amount of head scratching) and humour and in an helpful, polite manner.

I purchased a system from this company circa 7 years ago. At that time things were great, but then the great people gradually left leaving Nick and I'm not sure who else really (pretty much nobody). Our system recently needed repair - the first point to note is that they could not help without getting input from the Chinese manufacturers (even copied an email from the manufacturer to me), the second point to note is they didn't want to help fix our problem, which was only a failed compressor, and instead wanted us to buy a new unit for 5-6K, the third point to note is they were not holding the required spare parts in stock (interesting considering another customer may have suffered the same problem but only had their system installed for 1 year, so it would be under warranty and they would not have been able to support this customer), the fourth point to note is simply how rude, agressive and totally unhelpful Nick is (I suspect he will post on here in reply to highlight what I have said is inaccurate). The upshot of it all is that I would never deal with this company again and I seriously caution anyone who is considering doing so. I ended up having to buy a new unit, but not from Nick. I've also found the company where all the great people now work and they helped me without any trouble or drama. So, if you are considering buying from this company, please get in touch with me and I'll point you to a better (in my opinion) supplier.

After calling Earth Save numerous times about an issue with our system rather than send one of their engineers they included us in an email to a third party engineer. Appaling customer service. Believe the company is up for sale and they actually don't have any engineers. Also, turns out most of their systems and parts are now not being made and are unavailable. Long story short, engineer came out, replaced the faulty fan causing the error, left, 30 mins later same error, wrong fan changed and now not answering the phone. Two weeks plus without a working system. Avoid if you can. Give the 2rd party engineer his due he understood what was wrong and I believe the other fannwould have failed soon also but now not even answering phone to organise a the repair he mentioned. Bet it's a different story when we get the bill for the repair that left it still broken.

I am so disappointed with this company. They were very keen to sell me a system but after providing a quotation to complete the installation, they were unable to give me a date to start the work and then left me hanging on for 10 months. They then told me that they were 'too busy' to finish the job. Communication throughout this process was really difficult with little or no response to phone calls and emails. I have now found someone else to finish the job much more cheaply. I would advise you to explore any possible alternative to using this company. UPDATE!! My Air Source Heat Pump stopped working, the company fixed it within 48 hours and were professional and friendly. I am increasing my rating from 1 star to 3 star to express that I have had both awful and very good service.
