Exhale Acupuncture

I have been treated by Catherine since summer 2022 for frequent migraine attacks, which lasted nearly 72 hours. In addition to this, I had difficulty with sleeping due to hot flushes following my hysterectomy. I found Catherines knowledge and practice of acupuncture to be excellent and for me the outcomes have been particularly great. My migraines have almost disappeared and hot flushes totally gone, which in turn helped me with my sleep. Having acupuncture is as good as going to spa; I feel so relaxed and distressed at the end of each session.Catherine is a warm, confident practitioner who works closely in partnership with her patient. I would highly recommend her.

I came to Catherine with irregular periods, we had been struggling to conceive for two years and just about to start our first IVF cycle. Ill be the first to admit I was sceptical about the impact of acupuncture on womens health having never tried it myself, and only heard about using treatment for pain management, but Catherine has been fantastic! In our first session she asked for a holistic picture of my health including diet, sleep, emotional, hormonal, exercise routine and Ive felt completely looked after ever since! Ive had symptoms such as irregular bleeding, bloating, fluid retention, anxiety and stress all hugely relieved by her treatments which have been tailored to me each week and shes provided a friendly ear throughout. In particular, after an awful OHSS illness post first egg collection, I was struggling to walk from the abdominal pain and she had me skipping out of there feeling much lighter! Fast forward a few months and we have successfully been through a second IVF cycle and have frozen embryos in storage. Would hugely recommend and feel v lucky to have found her local to me.

Catherine is absolutely fab!! I needed 2 treatments (ideally) of acupuncture in one day. I booked one online with Catherine very very short notice (48 hours). She then phoned me 36 hours before my treatment, discussed my requirements and advised that due to the nature of my treatment 2 sessions would definitely be beneficial. Catherine then went out of her way to book me a session out of her regular working hours to accommodate 2 treatments. The treatment room was lovely. Easy to find and very comfortable. Both treatments were incredibly relaxing and Catherine was so friendly. I would HIGHLY recommend Catherine and would absolutely book again in the future! Thanks Catherine! xo

I can highly recommend Catherine. She successfully treated my 11-year-old son's chronic headaches. It has been a relatively lengthy journey, but Catherine is a very attentive listener and an understanding therapist. She made my son feel at ease, even though he was a very nervous and reluctant patient. She adjusted the treatment to meet his on-the-day needs. Catherine at Exhale Acupuncture is someone with whom I instantly felt at ease, who exudes warmth, serenity and care. I have mainly seen her in Wallingford in the Elbow Room, which is lovely and spacious, as well as being very central. She is always solicitous about my needs (providing extra support when needed, both physical and emotional!) and I always feel I've benefitted from my sessions with her. If you are looking for an acupuncturist, look no further.
