Walkham Valley Cottages

We had a family holiday here for a week, in walkham cottage. Truly amazing place and lovely people. There are very few places I would stay again but this is one of them. Every detail has been thought through. The rain showers are fantastic. The WiFi was good. The internal finishes were very high. The best thing of all is enjoying dinner on the patio with the sun setting before you(west facing patio)

The cottage is therefore quite secluded and you have absolute peace and quiet here. All around Dartmoor there are many beautiful destinations. Depending on the location, this is usually associated with longer journeys. The landlords are very nice and unobtrusive. (Original) Wir hatten hier die Ferienwohnung Walkham mit zwei Schlafzimmern. Sehr schne Ferienwohnung. Top Ausstattung. Alles vorhanden. Es handelt sich um ein altes Farmgebude, welches auen erhalten und innen modernisiert wurde. Inkl. 2 Bdern, Fubodenheizung, offenem Geblk als Beispiele. Die Erstausstattung mit den blichen Verbrauchsdingen war bei Ankunft ebenfalls vorhanden. Also Kaffeekapseln, Tee, Gewrze usw. Die Anfahrt erfolgt ber eine doch recht enge Single-Road, die fr Fahrzeugbreiten bis 2,1m zugelassen ist und beidseitig von hohen Hecken gesumt wird, was die Zufahrt nochmal 'spannender' macht. Das Cottage liegt demnach recht schn abgelegen und man hat hier absolute Ruhe. Rundherum im Dartmoor gibt es viele schne Ausflugsziele. Lagetypisch ist dies meist mit lngeren Anfahrten verbunden. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett und unaufdringlich.
