Just to say that Helen our trainer was excellent. The personal assistants felt that she was very engaging and taught at a high level. She expected a lot from them ( in a right way) but also enabled them to understand certain aspects they'd not really grasped before. She was relevant, very thorough and went over and above in areas covered.

Beth carried out some Manual Handling training for us recently she is lovely and a very experienced professional in her field.She adapted the training around us with and the equipment we have with no hesitation. Her input immediately made life easier for us as carers and more importantly the person we care for. I would very much recommend her and Cherry Tree for their recommendation and efficiency.

I was signposted to Cherry Training Ltd by my lead District Nurse. I have a spinal cord injury resulting from an accident in the mid 80s. I have needed an indwelling catheter to empty my bladder since 2008 and have live-in 24hr care provided by a small team of Carers and Personal Assistants (PAs). The Lead Nurse wanted my Carers/PAs trained professionally to be competent in changing the catheter in an emergency situation as any blockage can be life threatening in someone with my condition. It's called Autonomous Dysrelexia for anyone unfamiliar with this condition. The training was delivered in my home by an ex District Nurse whose job now is to deliver training to clients and caregivers. The training was first class, delivered by a very knowledgeable trainer using a mannequin and all the items necessary for the procedure. All those present really enjoyed the day and all agreed that they learned a lot having been brought up to date with current best practice as defined by NICE. The staff at the company were very polite and reassuring, especially when dates needed changing due to staff availability from my side. The company and trainer adopted a very much person centred approach throughout which was very welcome on my part. Nothing was too much for them. In summary, I can highly recommend Cherry Training Ltd and will definitely use them again if needed.

I can't praise all three trainers enough. They were absolutely brilliant and perfect for our needs particularly David his sessions were flexible and very prepared with excellent communication with me given my son and I were in the middle of a long hospital stay at the time. Both P.A.S Said how enjoyable it was to learn face to face and just be able to ask questions and have the human element not just a screen. They both learned a lot and for me as their employer has changed the way they respond. I can tell they are refreshed and refocused which is excellent.

Cherry is the nominated Training company for our Personal Assistants/carers. They have been extremely helpful to our family by offering not only mandatory online courses for our PA, but tailor made additional training for the relevant conditions my daughter has. They are very quick with their response times, which substantially reduces the worry and stress of ensuring your staff are fully up to date with their training. I would highly recommend Cherry to any individual or company looking for a professional training company.
