The receptionists are great they are all helpful and they have gone above and beyond in my experience, the doctors on the other hand are terrible, they make out they have no authorisation one minute then they magically appear to have authority, they have zero compassion for their patients because they dont understand there patients due to the fact its a new one every week, I dont believe they ever check through notes with a sense of understanding. The new age doctors who think they can take a physical pain away by making you read a book need reviewing and potentially need their own doctor

One of worst experiences I have ever had in my life. I have been referred for an face to face appointment at 09:30. I have arrived at 09:10 and have been told the face to face interview its actually online one despite it was confirmed 4 times to me in the past days. Than I have been told the meeting I was booked for was booked with the wrong person and advised to speak with Citizen Advice same building, same floor. Then I have been told I actually have no appointment at all and despite me taking a half day off work to attend, I was just given a form and asked to go back on the que and wait and potentially lose all my working day, which I could not afford doing. I do understand it was a genuine mistake on their end and this is fine but what was frustrating for me was the fact they did no do enough to resolve this issue and just passing the ball between Salford Council and Citizen Advise which was poor and unprofessional. In my opinion the receptionist at Citizens Advice was rude and not willing to help and not interested to help or make the effort for it, same I can say for one of the receptionist of the Gateway too, people like them have no place in a customer roles like there let alone in a institution that deal with delicate matters as benefits, support etc. the only one who tried to help and showed some effort was a bloke on the reception of the gate way.
