What fantastic accommodation. Everything one could ask for. A home away from home. The Old Hall is stylish, comfortable and beautifully decorated. In addition there is every convenience one would have at home - refrigerator and freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, iron and ironing board (I could have packed far less luggage had I known), TV and DVD player with DVD's to watch, games for children even books to read. As I say really superb. To add to all that Haddy and Adam were welcoming and a delight to deal with when arranging our stay.

A wow of a place and especially interesting in these Covid 19 times, because after the place is cleaned to perfection (yes, really) it is left unoccupied for three days between visitors. This ensures that traces of CV19, which may be left, especially on soft furnishings, will be dead by the time the next guest arrives. Why, in these times, would you stay somewhere that doesn't do that? Well done Angharad and Adam for putting our health first! The Hall is tastefully furnished and decorated and imaginatively converted with a lovely entrance/dining room from where you see through internal windows to the sitting room. This is so comfy with sofas and large armchairs, TV and best of all, an easy to light wood burner. Books and puzzles, some of which are very difficult. The kitchen is open to this but raised by a couple of feet and separated by a balustrade and breakfast bar. Beautifully appointed new kitchen including an induction hob, full size oven, microwave, fridge, freezer and dishwasher. The good sized bathroom off this, houses a washing machine in a well disguised cupboard. The top of the latter is very useful for dumping all the things you need to in a bathroom. The "rainstorm" shower and hand held one are above the bath. So you have everything. The crowning glory is the underfloor heating in both the kitchen and bathrooms. The electric heaters elsewhere are pre-set to keep the place comfortable but you can alter the thermostats for cold weather. The spiral stairs twists out of the entrance/dining to the enclosed two bedroom mezzanine above. Both are light and a good size (1 twin, 1 double) with skylights and internal windows giving to the kitchen below. The sun trap at the front with its table and chairs, overlooks a very quiet lane and wild flower hedge, field and orchard beyond. Quiet and peaceful with the occasional "hello" to the local dogs and their owners. The other reviews say everything else.
