Walesby Forest Scout Centre

Over the Easter Weekend the site has been open for public camping. It's a massive site with some great activities for the adventurous. There are some lovely walks straight from the site, and Sherwood Forest is nearby. However it's very expensive considering the quality of the facilities. Toilets are basic but clean. Pitches are large but difficult to locate, there is no grey water disposal point, elsan point is very primitive, electric was 10 amps. These matters need addressing if charging 14 per person plus 10 electric per night. However staff are friendly and shop is good Our group enjoyed the onsite activities.

I have to admit, to having just popped in to find out what might be going on at Easter. Open to the public worth popping online for activities. Great place to come, very nice staff.

Scouts have cleaned it up ready for the season, everywhere clean and tidy

This is a great place for scouts to have a break, I use to bring scouts here over 20 years ago and it has got better every year well worth a visit.
