My last experience was poor in the extreme. They took 6 weeks to get to the bottom of an engine cutting out issue, changing fuel pump and tank, which weren't the issue at all. After a 2k+ bill the car was handed back dirty and only after every other car in the workshop had gone. Not for the first time I was relegated to bottom of the pile. The car failed again almost immediately, less than a mile from home and I was left by the roadside for nearly 3 hours awaiting RAC recovery. I had to persuade Hangar to come and collect the car, which they seemed almost reluctant to do, and, they eventually found the fault, fixed with an 8 bypass device, apparently, a known Lotus issue. They are supposed to be Lotus specialists. They weren't in the least contrite about their performance, even trying to justify it. I suggested that they should refund me some of the payment but Marianne had no intention of doing that. Ultimately, they were both hapless and grossly incompetent. Why on earth would i want to use them again?
