Only thing that let it down our experience was when we stayed was the pub adjacent to the site wasn't serving food on Good Friday evening and was closing at 7.00pm, apart from that we will definitely go back

My wife and I have been caravanners for well over twenty plus years; being pensioners on a limited budget, value for money, location and what the site has to offer all play an important part in where we stay.
We decided to take a short 5 day break prior to our Easter holiday; living only about 90 minutes from the North Norfolk coast we decided on this site (which we drove by last year).
As a new site we can only assume that the owner has invested a great deal of money into this venture; the site comprises of 20 service pitches all with electric, water, waste and level hard standings.
Add to this electronic barrier and Wi-Fi. a lovely modern spacious site situated with easy access from the adjacent main road.
Having spoken with the approachable and friendly owner, planning permission is pending regarding a toilet block - so you currently have to use the toilet and washroom facilities within your own rig. It should also be noted that there is no permanent staff on the site, however the owner can be contacted via phone or email and did visit the site on several occasions during our stay. The site is also remotely monitored by a number of on-site cameras.
We found the website site quite straightforward to use when bookings and payments are made, prior to your arrival. A detailed Terms and Conditions is also available along with contact details, access code, etc. on your confirmation email.
Overall this site is well worth a visit, located on the edge of Walcott, adjacent to the Lighthouse pub, cafe and restaurant; its a modern, competitively priced and well designed and laid out site.
We would highly recommend this to any caravanner or motor home user wanting to visit and stay within the local area. A definite YES would be the answer to would we return to this site.
Right at the beginning I mentioned value for money was one of the factors we take into consideration; yes you have to book online and use your own facilities and any issues you have, you need to contact the owner remotely (we personally didnt have any need to contact the owner). Compared to other service pitch sites we have used within the area, we save 45 on the price quoted at Two Mills at North Walsham and 92 at the CAMC site at Ludham Bridge (based upon 2 adults - same dates).
So in this current financial climate, if you are looking for value for money then why not try this site!
