I was contacted at the beginning of 2023. In February I started working with one of the largest Groups in the world's luxury fashion. Very similar experience to many comments below. Excited calls initially to send an up to date cv as quick as possible...hurry hurry, we've put you in for two or three jobs where you are the ideal candidate, and then just some sporadic follow-up calls weeks later saying no customers had feedback....either the biggest fizzlers around, or just a cv and data collection company to pass on your stuff to cheaper agencies who know?

Ive had a few of their recruitment consultants contact me via LinkedIn over the past year or so. Different consultants offering different roles, but each time they use the same copy+paste saying something along the lines of My client wanted me to reach out to you personally, your reputation clearly precedes you! etc. If that was true, they would contact me the same way this agency has and save the 20% fee! They shouldnt be doing this at all, is that how desperate they are to get candidates through the door of clients? If youre a potential client - consider the fact that they are being disingenuous to candidates and probably to you. If youre a candidate, steer well clear. You arent special to their clients, otherwise they wouldnt have used these clowns to contact you on their behalf

They just add all your data into their systems without consent, I don't understand how a company can work this way. Be very afraid from these guys as a freelancer,
