So I found out about this place while in Paris, but was unable to visit, so I was excited when I saw they had a place in London. I arrived about 18:15 and only waited 5mins to be seated (I noticed that the line was long by 7pm) obviously its a set menu, a basic side salad made to be a starter and your main, steak and fries (2 portions) with dessert being optional. The salad was nothing to write home about, really would of preferred it served with my main. With a mustard dressing and a small sprinkle of walnuts it was just ok. It served with some crusty bread which was dry tasting. The steak was cooked well, if you like your steak really pink go for rare, I went for medium and realised I could of eaten it pinker. The sauce that they serve it with is interesting, I can't tell you what it tastes like but it's very addictive served over the best fries I've had in a long time. The good thing is once you finish they come round with a little extra serving so you feel satisfied. The dessert is optional, I went for the profiteroles which were underwhelming and I wished I went for something else. Overall it was a decent place, I'm glad I didn't have to wait to be seated otherwise this would have been disappointing. The chips and sauce is the best part of this experience, but everything else is mediocre.
