        I can't help but feel that Hoffmans are slipping away. The butchers in Wakefield has done away with the meat supplies (apart from pre-packed sausages) & only seems to offer takeouts such as sandwiches, pies & pasties. The larger Cornish type pasty I had recently had too much pastry & the filling was bland - it was just about ok, but stodgy. Maybe they're concentrating on wholesaling instead? Seems a shame that such an established, highly regarded, high street butchers is now pretty much a sandwich type shop (I'm sure COVID didn't help). Hope they get back to their best soon...

        Staff never wear gloves touching your food with bare hand in their both bakery, seen lady wiping her nose with filthy tissue and then served customer, personally never buy anything again.
