Went here while at the Rhubarb Festival. It was busy but managed to get a table. 2 of us had small fish and chips and I had a fish butty. After nearly 30 minutes our food arrived. the 2 fish and chips were hot but my chip butty was barley warm, I did not complain as I didn't want to wait another 30 minutes for a fresh one. The staff are run off their feet, the manager/ess need to employ staff, especially when there is something happening in the town or they should help out themselves. If we had not been hungry we would have walked out.

Clean and tidy, staff helpful and friendly. We had two large fish and chips, one with curry, one with mushy peas, 2 slices of bread and two teas, all for 21. I don't know what the fish was but it wasn't haddock or cod, Bread had margarine on so it got left and the tea was pretty weak and tasteless. It's gone downhill from our last visit so won't be rushing back.
