The Queens Arms

I was in Wakefield staying in a hotel close and me and a friend were looking to eat somewhere in the vicinity. We've passed the pub which is on Denny Dale Road previously on the way to the city centre but had never been in. We both opted for the quick bite; 4 oz rump steak (cooked to your liking) dressed salad and jacket potato for only 6.50 each. Excellent value for money and delicious. The menu is extensive and lots of choice. They even do a senior's 3 course menu for 13.00. The bar itself carers for all tastes and is well stocked. There's a pool room and TV's for sports days etc. They even let dogs in too, so if you've had an energetic walk with your pooch, put in here and relax together. The decor is modern and there's a large beer garden to the left as you enter the pub. Definitely going back when I'm in town again
