Some people in the reviews seriously need to get educated. One star rating for a 2 quid bag of chips? I suggest you try opening a takeaway and see how few peanuts you're willing to work for? People need to make a living for Christ's sake. If you're so worried about a couple of quid, then buy some oven chips, or...shock, horror... peel some spuds and make them yourselves. Moaning that a supermarket pizza is cheaper?? Errr... yes, of course it is. It's also mass produced, frozen, and not delivered to your door ready to eat. Clearly a member of the brain crew this one. I've actually found Pizza Time's pizzas to be very average. Certainly no worse than other places in Wakefield, but then I find most pizzas in Wakefield to be well below par. Most bases are premade and bought in (as is Pizza Time's) and sauces, cheeses and toppings are low catering quality... pizzas laced with tomato puree and rubbery, greasy and stale mozzarella are bog standard in Wakefield. Just not my cup of tea compared to the fresh ones you can get in other places. Kebabs however, are easily the best in Wakefield. Though the meat can be a bit greasy (I don't actually mind this), it's also easily the tastiest and also the only donner meat in the area that actually has a meaty texture and tastes like lamb (which is what donner kebabs are meant to be) rather than beef. The pickled cabbage salad that goes with it is also very tasty and authentic, rather than the usual bit of lettuce, cucumber and tomato thrown on, and the chilli sauce is home made and beautiful.
