To call this a GP practice is generous. You ring at 8am to find that you're number 43 in the queue. You finally get through and get told there are no appointments and to ring at 8am the next day. Among this the reception staff are very rude both in person and over the phone. If you are lucky to get an appointment 90% of the time it's a telephone appointment where they assess you. Not sure whether it's just this practice or most GP's but it's a joke

What an absolute joke of a place. They do not accommodate appointments for working people. Been trying to get an appointment now for over three weeks to no avail. The appointment system is a down right disgrace and the reception staff are rude and not very accommodating.

40 minutes on hold, when I finally get through I'm told there is appointments but I wanted a prescription for contraception so suddenly all the appointments had gone. Assuming that's to save the 'stretched' NHS some money resulting in me having to pay for it through the pharmacy.

I've rarely used the surgery for myself but since having my son I have found that staff are always so friendly and helpful. Each doctor we have seen has gone out of their way to interact with my 1 year old directly and have been efficient and explanatory in appointments. We have never struggled to get an appointment for him when needed and when he was unwell with COVID they even did video calls to check on him. They have been so reassuring and diverted us to hospital when needed. Yes, there is often a long queue in the morning but usually the queue moves relatively quickly and staff are still polite when they do get to you. I've recommended the surgery to lots of people.

I used to be registered at lupset surgery, I would avoid this surgery at all costs. For years they said my symptoms where anxiety, even though I ended up in a wheelchair from my symptoms. They would refuse me help and referrals till I contacted other people to help me. I made appointments regularly begging for help, to the point I was crying and a doctor screamed at me and told me to leave. I got my diegnosis of POTS and even with my diegnosis they put, " I don't believe this patient has POTS, I believe it's anxiety. They also said I had health anxiety. Because I kept coming in for different symptoms, they made something up that I had been extremely rude to a doctor and that I had sworn at her. I took it further and I asked for the phone appointment recording, they "apparently" lost this recording of me apparently swearing. So they removed me from the surgery. Before the removal letter I had received a phone call saying they " couldn't keep up with all my referrals" after I was diagnosed with POT'S. Since then I have been diagnosed with autonomic dysfunction and 7 other conditions, so it wasn't anxiety or health anxiety and it wasn't in my head.
