        Been coming here for years, got 4 pork pies costing a whopping 7.00. Had these last night, what a disappointment. They were dry, stale and tasteless, they are usually delicious. Wont be going back again!

        I had the most amazing pork pie. They are served warm at the shop and you could wait to get home and put them in the fridge to get cold, but they are so good that the wait would be torture!! Pastry is lush and crumbling and the mince is well seasoned.

        The best butcher in Wakefield in my opinion. I've used this butcher for over 60years, first with my parents when Albert, the founder was serving. I've never been disappointed with anything bought from either shop. The pies are absolutely delicious, the fresh meat is of the best quality and all served by friendly competent staff. Thank you
