Went to see the team at Nigel Inghams to fit springs on my car after local FB group suggested them. The springs were fitted incorrectly and in the process a shock absorber was broken - the car was 10cm higher at the front than the back...but they didn't think that was an issue...as no body checked the car after the springs were fitted. Several calls, trips to the garage and (ignored) emails later they finally admitted fault and replaced the shock and followed the adjustment instructions for the springs I sent on day one. (strange, as the phone call I had the day before i was told they couldnt be adjusted...) I had to chase them for updates on everything - the communication was shocking. Don't bother emailing them, as to quote the receptionist "we're a face to face business with lives and children outside of work" - this was actually said to me when I was in the office and told them I had emailed the details several days prior. What started as a good experience, soon transformed into an incredibly stressful and poor experience all round . The attitude I received from the staff on reception when i had the audacity to query what they had done and how they would fix the issues was disgusting. To quote; "go get someone, before I say something" - what an awful way to speak to paying customers. After picking the car up, it then cost me further money to book it into somewhere else to have it checked over to put my mind at rest that the work done was actually fit for purpose. Your experience maybe (and hopefully will be) different, but I wouldn't trust them to put air in a tyre. I won't be a return customer.
