I made the mistake of using this from April 22 and am still having issues 11 months on. I saw one review saying AVOID at all costs - please do so if you value your sanity, blood pressure and emotional well being. Their reception staff and the only good thing about this company! They are inexperienced, threaten customers who dare to question their timeframes eg searches paid for but not submitted for over three weeks. Unbelievably for a solicitors their go to phrase is we have never received that whether it be from other solicitors (who I actually had to approach and it was confirmed these correspondence were sent) or from HMRC. If you want to keep your sanity pay whatever it takes and dont go through purple bricks to have Core Legal represent you. Solicitor and assistant solicitor left the company during our instruction the only ones left are the ones who dont like your tone when you question why after 5 months you have still not received a stamp duty refund from HMRC after their (yet another) error of overpaying! They fire fight all the time and only answer clients after their is no other option and you mention law society and ombudsman) appalling treatment of paying clients and horendous communication use at your peril !

As a Mortgage broker, I can say only good words about the Core Legal. Always replying on emails on time. 5* for Suresh Nadkarni - the best conveyancing services.

Very helpful & friendly staff. It doesn't hurt that they are one of the more reasonable when it comes to charges either!

Their lack of communication was utterly unprofessional and unbecoming of a solicitors establishment. If you're not a fan of being kept in the dark, no email responses, unfinished work, please do not use this firm for your conveyancing.

If I could give a zero star or less I would!! Diabolical company to use. Avoid at all cost, unless you like being ignored. They never call you back and ignore emails. A sale of a house which had no chain either side took 7 MONTHS to sell....so if your recommended to use them DONT!!!
