We visit here on a fairly regular basis and have always found the place to be clean and the staff to be polite, helpful and happy. Always enjoy the Mocha and Latte coffees but my wife enjoys the hot chocolate their too. The food we have had has always been nice too. Wheelchair accessibility: They have plenty of room for wheelchair access and it is all on the same level.

Review is based on the downstairs Grind Cafe in the Ridings. Went in for some food, upon ordering requested a glass to take my tablets. Blonde middle aged lady behind the counter very rudely looked at me and said why you havent bought a drink, explained I had some water in my bag to take my tablets. She refused to give me a glass due to not buying a drink instore but purchased food. Advised her Ive never had a issue before and visit weekly. Slammed the number down for food, asked for the money with no manners and shook her head as she walked off. Shocking customer service, shouldnt be questioned why I need a glass/cup and wont be returning. All tables will full of dirty trays but staff stood about and wasnt busy.

Ignored by the first member of staff who saw us looking at the menu, she then disappeared into the back. Then ignored by the man who was making a customers order but managed to call the woman from the back to come & clean something up for him. She also ignored us when she came out so we left & took our business elsewhere. Very disappointing
