We had some lunch in the kitchen barn which was okay. Chips were thin and hard but the burger meet was nice. Small portion for the price!! Could do with some more play things for the kids.
Overall a good experience

On a plus note we did have the apple crumble and custard which was very nice.
Maybe we were close to the end of service but as I said for the price we felt it was not acceptable, this means we will not be eating here again.

I have never minded paying premium prices for what has always been premium products.
However i do feel generally standards have been slipping lately.
I bought four picanha steaks (not cheap) and when cooked could only be described as tasteless and like old boot leather.
Large pork pie bought at the same time just wasn't the same, crust really soft and the filling colourless no flavour and little quantity.
I feel of some of the products quality sold in the shop could do with an urgent review as they have lost that "farm shop" quality and have more of a supermarket feel.
Just my gereral feeling but i am starting to feel disappointed with alot of products i buy and at these premium prices I'm starting to feel let down.
