Appalling parking with cameras and horrendous system which requires you to have, either a strong mobile internet connection, or a decent mobile telephone reception. Both of these are atrocious in the village. Maintaining either mobile internet, or a telephone reception, for long enough to book just one vehicle into the car park is virtually impossible. I needed to book in two cars! The automated telephone system is unworkable and restricted to one vehicle per phone number. I wasted a good hour, and trust me I am tech savvy, trying to pay for the parking for both myself and my aging parents. We left the pub and this village raging and utterly disgusted. We should have enjoyed the meal at the pub and the walk around the neighbouring country side, but the parking utterly ruined that. Parking used to be free of charge. This is what kills attractive destinations. We will never return to Wadenhoe. My suggestion, if you need to park there, is to do so on the streets in the village!
