Celtic Pine & Oak

Called in while visiting the area to look for a couple of console tables and a small plant stand table. Karen couldn't have been more helpful, searching the shop for us and then locating what we wanted from her stock list. As we hadn't arrived with any required measurements we went away to measure and called her the next day . Paid a deposit and arranged to collect items a week later. Everything ran like clockwork, paid our balance and left with the items. Happy customer, excellent service and would definitely use again.

Very disappointed with the service received on Saturday. We went to Celtic pine and oak to look for a dining set. This was a big purchase for us and wanted some assistance. The lady reluctantly came over when we asked but seemed to not know much about the product. She extended the table in a clumsy way. My husband pointed out what he thought was an easier way and she snapped back that She was struggling and walked away. It felt like we was putting her out even though we were the only people in the shop. We moved the table back to its original position and left without making a purchase. This for us was a shame. We wanted to buy local and support the town but definitely did not feel like a valued customer.

When I went in this morning, looking for dining room furniture, no one was in the shop except for a woman sitting at the counter. I walk with a stick so am not the fastest mover, but she said to me Will you gee it up a bit. I walked straight out and will not be returning, despite buying numerous items of furniture from them over around the last thirty years.
