I haven't stayed at an English B&B in decades, so this was something of a nostalgic albeit practical return to the accomodation we had before Premier and Travelodge . The location is super convenient for the centre of Wadebridge; 3 minutes walk and you are in the pedestrianised shopping zone of town where there are plenty of independents and several eateries. The B&B is owned and run by Linda Dutton who has lived in Cornwall for a loooong time and has an encyclopaedic knowledge of where to visit and how to get there. Linda couldn't do enough for us and her warm, friendly and chatty personality made us feel very, very welcome . There are 3 rooms to stay. The one we had, looked recently renovated with a very chic ensuite bathroom/wetroom. The bed was very comfortable and the linen was clean and crisp. There was use of a lounge and the dining room was open all the time with a fridge and tea making facilities plus a selection of biscuits. The breakfast assortment was wide and it was clear Linda had taken the trouble to provide a point of difference. Plenty of fresh fruit including a selection of seasonal berries, cereal's, yoghurts, dried fruits and nuts - and that is before the cooked breakfast offering from which one could choose any number of combinations, eg my wife, who is vegetarian, enjoyed avocado and tomato and mushrooms. Linda will do what she reasonably can to please her guests. This is the level of service which one doesn't receive at Premier or Travelodge and for anyone staying in this part of Cornwall I would urge you to book and stay here.

We were so lucky to have found this gem of a B&B and could not have been happier with the delightful and perfect place to stay. The huge bed (and pillows) just pulled you in to an absolutely wonderful and comfortable night's sleep. The room was so spotlessly clean and every little thing was provided for our comfort. Our full English breakfast was always freshly cooked by Linda, our host, who was 100% plus to ensure our stay was enjoyable. As is often quoted: it's the little things that make a difference...well, if you are lucky enough to stay you will know exactly what we mean. Thank you Linda for being the best B&B host ever!
