love going to Just Vibes you have a one to one treatment with Javan, I go and have my hair Relaxed and coloured I have been going for over 10 years now I trust only him with relaxing my hair.

I went to him on the 8th October for a relaxer/corrective relaxer. The atmosphere of the salon was quite dated, but I tried not to think much of it, as long as he did a good job. How wrong I was. He relaxed my hair in two sections with minimal processing time, put me under the dryer, then blow dryed and straightened my hair, no moisturising of my scalp or hair. He just put a glossing hair polish on my hair when he was done my hair didn't look great but I thought I'll just style it the way I wanted when I got home. A few days later I washed my hair, and that's when the truth about this bad relaxer job came out. The part that was supposed to be corrected didn't look corrected at all and the roots of my hair didn't relax well also, my hair looked like different textures and upon doing research he used the completely wrong relaxer for correcting!!! I told him my issues and he said I should come back for a moisturising treatment, but i told him i was putting in a protective style (weave), so he said i should come back when I take it out. A Professional should know that the issue was not moisture but breakage due to the un-eveness of the way he did my relaxer and only protein treatments should somewhat help. I took out my weave about a week ago and have done treatments, but my hair is breaking bad especially the ends, from where the correcting was not done properly. I spoke to this man again on the phone he was hostile, refusing to offer an adequate solution that i want. Instead just telling me he doesn't have to, but he will offer me a moisturising treatment, and trying to blame me for the breakage when I've clearly sent him pictures of the utter rubbish relaxer job? Im gutted as the only thing that will help my hair right now is a big chop, which I will be going to an actual professional who knows what they're doing. This situation is a mess, I'm so upset. This review is not out of spite, just terrible customer service and a job not well done. Ive contacted trading standards and they've told me what to do as a follow up so they can investigate the matter, but after thinking about it, I refuse to dwell and waste anymore energy on this matter. Terrible place and experience. I wish I never set foot in this there. Waste of money, there a miles better salons in Croydon.
