Bruce Lee's Jeet Kune Do with JKD London (Sifu Lak Loi)

JKD London is a fantastic place to train if you are interested in Martial Arts. The Sifu Lak Loi is highly knowledgeable, professional and makes you feel very comfortable in the space. Prior to starting JKD training I had experienced violent trauma, some might say that re-inacting aggression would be the worst idea but actually it was incredibly healing and very empowering. Through the training my confidence has grown and I feel far better equipped to defend myself both mentally & physically.Without this training I probably would not have begun my campaign to change the legal system and fight to protect the more vulnerable in our society.

Hi, I took up JKD for a month now and I am very happy with my experience so far. Everyone is so friendly and helpful, it feels like one big family which is great. The teaching is amazing, detailed step by step with both theoretical and practical application all the way. Everything is very well organized and I will keep coming for sure. Victor

Lak Loi is a great trainer, first and foremost. I only spent a small time, unfortunately due to other commitments, with lak but as a teacher myself I was very impressed with lak's engaging methods of teaching, his down to earth approach and willingness to explain the fundamentals in detail, and in a very digestible way. I think he'd be good at teaching anything but he's clearly got a lot of passion for jkd. If you want the most out of these classes I would recommend going for all 3 per week as the lessons are themed and sequential. I thoroughly enjoyed the classes and if I could have I would have definitely thrown myself into it more. If you're thinking about doing it, just go for it. It's affordable, especially for London, and you won't regret it.

Highly recommended if you are looking for a martial art with a non-classical approach that is effective and powerful. Sifu Lak Loi makes the only experience feel more holistic due to his dedication not only to the art itself but above all to his pupils to whom he personally gives guidance and valuable lessons at the physical and spiritual level. As a plus you get to meet several people from the most diverse backgrounds that all share a common interest in Jeet June Do, making you feel a part of big extended family.

Have known Lak Loi for several years now and. Started training with him about 7 years back. I find Lak to be be a highly skilled and genuine martial artist who lives and breaths the philosophy of the Legend Bruce Lee and is always there to help and support students.
