Very disappointed. Went for their Thai Afternoon Tea - were left waiting with no offer of drinks or anything for 25 minutes. No apology. Food came - no explanation for what any of the components were (had to look it up on the website). Food was ok but found a large piece of plastic in the squid. Told the server who said she would ask the chef. Never came back to explain or apologise. We've been a few times to Giggling Squid Wimbledon and enjoyed it, however won't be going back after our experience today.

Its a cute restaurant and much bigger than it looks from the outside and even from the front area. The food comes relatively quickly and the staff are attentive. However I just didnt find the food to be worth the price. The quantities are criminally small and I expected a better taste. I wound up ordering more food than I normally every do as I wasnt satisfied or full and thats after having a starter and a main! I ordered a platter once I had finished my initial order. I shouldnt have to do that. The restaurant is cute and clean but I wont be going again unfortunately.

Tiny place with heavenly food. Loved the flavours and the presentation. The staff were friendly. The only disappointment was that they did not have most of the fresh juices in the menu and neither did they have a beer we ordered. But other than that this is a cozy little place in wimbledon if you fancy good food.
