Simon from Pole Structural engineers carried out a defect report on a damaged bay window pillar at short notice. Given his experience working with properties like ours (quite old), he was able to explain very clearly the issues and advise on two possible courses of action. The comprehensive report itself arrived a few days later. The process was quick and efficient, and has given me piece of mind and a clear path forward. This firm provided a great service and i would highly recommend.

Highly recommended. I used Pole during the process of selling my house. A couple of things had been flagged on the buyers survey and I wanted to get an in depth report done so I could give reassurance that the house was structurally sound. Judith was very helpful explaining my options and ensuring that I didnt spend money unnecessarily. Simon was able to visit quickly and turned the report around in less than 24 hours. When further enquires came he was happy to provide more advice and expertise and even offered to speak to the buyer. Highly professional and worth every penny.

We used Pole Structural Engineers as we had concerns about a property we were buying. After some research, including thoroughly searching through the IstructE website, I found a number of structural engineers in the area. However, out of the shortlist, it was clear Pole was above everyone else. Judith was patient and explained the services in great detail. Already this stood out in comparison to others. Simon called me immediately after the visit to discuss the findings and the report was sent to me within 24 hours. I will note that Pole are not the cheapest structural engineers I came across, however, as someone whos completely new to structural concerns and structural engineer services, when youre making a huge decision such as buying a house, there are multiple factors that are equally important, including re-assurance that the service would give us the answer we need, and certainty of the conclusion of the report, which Pole delivered exceptionally on. Im really pleased with Pole and will definitely keep a hold of their details for the future.
