Ive shopped for garments and sold many of my items here. Extremely professional and really fair pricing on my items. I also really appreciated the advice they gave me about when was best to sell items (which seasons to bring them back etc.) and always received back items which didnt sell in perfect condition. As a customer I have also had a great experience. The staff have helped me dress for quite a few events and made some excellent recommendations, helping me find garments which I wouldnt usually reach for or find things in my size. I have shopped and sold in many dress agencies around London and I really recommend Phoenix Style.

I had an YSL bag which was in great shape. Had used a moth repellent to keep the bag. I was told by the manager to air it for a couple of days. I aired the bag for more than seven days. Took the bag and left it at the shop - was told that I was going to receive an email with a price offering. The manager phoned up and told me that the smell was still very strong - do not agree at all. It is just a leather smell which is natural. All of this is fine but I told the manager that I am working long hours and that would only be able to get it on the weekend. She was very reluctant to say yes. I mean, what is the alternative - are they going to throw the bag away? Anyway, will not shop and do not recommend. Not the most professional attitudes. UPDATE: I have asked the shopkeeper whether they have seen my review. The answer was a rude: Yes. The problem is that she did not want to keep the bag whilst waiting for me to take it back. In case something like this happens to anyone else, please do take some sort of confirmation for your item when you hand it. Otherwise there is no legal proof of receipt. There is also no contract or no sort of information. Really disappointing for a lovely neighbourhood.

Love this store! Its my go to in South London. I love a look through as can always find some treasure. Lovely staff too. Highly recommend.
