It was a collaborative experience - whilst we weren't entirely sure what we wanted at the outset Rupert's creativity and patience along the way really stood out - he helped guide us toward a set of plans that we are very pleased with! As a joiner I dont always see eye to eye with architects! Throughout a year I work with several architects, most of these are good. None of these go above and beyond like Holden harper. Ive been working with Holden Harper about 10 years, mostly Rupert in this time I have to say these are the best I have worked with. I often tell people how nice it is for me to work with Holden Harper I would feel confident recommending these to anyone!!

Holden Harper is the architctual practice directly involved in the redevelopment and refurbishment of the series of buildings in Holyrood Street, Newport, Isle of Wight, PO30 5AU that now make up the One Holyrood Hotel. This has been, and continues to be, a complex and demanding project. The buildings range from Medieval Grade 2 listed to Victorian. The challenge has been to renovate, revive and reconstruct these near derelect buildings into a modern hotel while all along complying with the stringent demands of local and national conservation requirements.

Holden Harper's approach to architecture is as timeless and elegant as it is practical and well conceived. We have collaborated on several projects with HH as a design studio and the results always exceed expectations both for us as designers but also for our clients.
