Ice Cream Parlour

I just want uo send out a massive thank you to the staff who work here, beautiful , lovely people , my phone was handed in to them ( I left it on a bench near them ) and when I went in and asked them if anyone had handed a phone in , in less than a second the girl said 'what this one?' I could have cried I was chuffed beyond belief , I wish the person who handed it in and all the staff the best wishes in life & may good luck follow them always ....thank you xxxx

Great range of gelato flavours, but I'm particularly obsessed with the smoothies here. Awesome staff

BELIEVE THE 1 STAR REVIEWS!! I wanted to give this place a try despite negative reviews and wished I hadnt. Bought my daughter a single scoop of vanilla in a tub (4!!) and took it back as had one taste and it was disgusting. DEFINITELY NOT GELATO. Rather than leave a review, I thought I would return it to the shop and tell them. Unfortunately they made a bad situation much worse by arguing with me, pulling faces at me saying it was lovely ice cream (!) and I was wrong. Turned out yhe transaction actually hadnt gone through (shouldnt have returned ha ha) as then the manager became menacing saying I had to pay for it and that it was my problem if I didnt like it. Horrendous experience. No doubt the awful manager will respond to this review and show everyone how unprofessional he and his establishment is. I suggested he could have offered another ice cream instead, or a refund but he thought the idea was insane apparently! I ended up going across the road to the village organic shop and buying a single scoop of Hackney Gelato vanilla (sublime!) for half the price- wish Id dont that originally. AVOID THIS PLACE - they treat customers with disdain to your face and by selling substandard ice cream as gelato when it isnt. Yuck.
