The owners have beautifully furnished this place and the amazing sea view from the Bay window, was great morning and evening. Its perfect for a small family/group. It has most of the amenities you need too. Unfortunately, the cleaning was appalling. I had to clean the fridge and bathroom. The floors had been not cleaned. The towels were not freshly washed. The washing machine had not been aired out properly. The cleaning really let this property down and I can see from other reviews this is not the first time it has been mentioned. This property is beautiful and should be presented that way. I also had issues with the booking company. Communication is not a strong point with them, which left me not checking all details so people check every part of your booking confirmations.

This first floor flat is ideally located with views over Ventnor Bay from the living room window. The flat itself was comfortable and well appointed. Everything needed for our stay was there. We used all of the facilities including the oven, washing machine and even did some ironing with the iron and board provided and everything worked perfectly. The main bedroom was a good size with a large and comfortable bed. The large wardrobe was excellent and there were plenty of hangers for clothes. Shops for browsing were literally around the corner from the flat as were coffee shops, restaurants and a well-stocked Co-op. A walk down the hill to the bay provided more coffe shops and a lovely bay in which to spend the day, but be aware, the hill is fairly steep but easily manageable if you are relatively fit or just take your time (we are in our late sixties and managed it comfortably). The Spyglass Inn at the far end was busy but the food was good and plentiful and there was a good selection of ales on offer. There were some good coastal walks and in any case, Ventnor is a good base from which to explore the rest of the island by bus or by car. We highly recommend this flat and are booking to go back there next year.
