Signal Point Cottage

We had a wonderful stay at Ventnor Botanic Gardens over Easter, celebrating two special birthdays. Our family group stayed at Signal Point, Smugglers Lodge and The Cabin - all cosy and beautiful properties with stunning views of the gardens and sea. We particularly loved being able to visit the gardens early morning and evening when closed to the public - so quiet and beautiful. And a perfect location for us to walk along the coastal path to Steephill Cove. The staff at the gardens were so helpful and welcoming throughout our stay and we had delicious meals from the cafe delivered to our accommodation. Thank you to everyone at the gardens for making our celebration so special, we hope to visit again soon.

I recently stayed at Signal Point Cottage, which is situated inside the Botanic Gardens at Ventnor - what a beautiful surprise and a wonderful opportunity to wander around the gardens before & after opening hours. The Cottage was very comfortable for us - with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms - for a group of 3 friends. We ordered a curry supper from the restaurant on site for our first night, which worked very well. This was a beautiful spot for a quiet retreat to relax and explore the area. I would recommend that you have a car to explore the island during your stay, although you could walk into Ventnor for provisions, pubs & restaurants and you could also take a bus to other places in the island.
