Had the R&R lounge for my partners 40th Birthday. The contract stated no confetti; however, this was a surprise birthday and i was not at the venue when the guests arrived. I walked in with my partner for he's surprise and there were a few confetti poppers which you would expect for a ''surprise''. The owner got very angry and ruined the event by telling me he is not happy. So that then ruined the mood, i spent a lot money to rent the venue and time and effort to arrange this party. It was a special occasion. The owner then got he's hover out in middle of the surprise where we were greeting everybody and started hovering the dance floor and trying to make a point of it for 20 minutes which then ruined the videos and photos of the surprise / first dance. it was quite embarrassing. He then did not notify me but refused to refund my deposit holding fee due to the confetti. The drinks made a few people ill as they were not great quality but so overpriced. He also shut the smoking area one hour before closing time even though i had paid until 2am. He was not accommodating with having the balloons dropped earlier in the day. Not recommended if you want a good vibe go somewhere else as you will be on eggshells here and wont be able to enjoy the night as you would like to.

Went out to this place with friends - a place I would not recommend. I asked can I have some water please at the till, bear in mind I was 6 months pregnant! The guy told me say please when I already asked can I have some water please? Then also turned round and said I dont have manners! Dont go to this bar if you want to beg the staff for water to drink. Bad customer service!
