Bar was empty and we had great service both ordered fish and chips The chips peas and the curry sauce was lovely the fish fillets were very thin and small and were overcooked, my wife refused to tea a large part of hers I wonder if we got the small portion of fish when we ordered the big portion? I did say at the end of the meal the server

Welcoming staff, delicious well priced food and drink, excellent service too in spite of how busy it was. Also our puppy was made to feel welcome by staff which put us at ease

Very good food, excellent service, had a nice conversation with who I believe is the deputy manager, he was very welcoming and we are definitely planning on coming back, whether it's for just or maybe even to watch football as well as food, nice to have a family friendly pub that is dog friendly and I'm sure we will enjoy many more visits there.

We came for a nice Sunday roast and were told at 5pm that there were no roasts left, which was very disappointing. We had especially made the booking as the roast dinner's alway smell so good when we pass by on a Sunday.
