JR's caribbean Takeaway

Food is beautiful, very polite members of staff. This was my first time trying this kind of food and did not know where to start or what to get. I ended up asking the lady working at the counter who spoke me thru everything they had to offer and explained what they tasted like. I would highly recommend. You are able to sit in but only two people at a time as shop is very small.

Service - Unwelcoming, served with a cant be bothered attitude.I asked for not too much bone in my goat and she gave me pure bone a d the biggest pieces she could find in the pot Food - Hard undercooked Rice n Peas and curry got was pure bone!! Atmosphere - Only cutomer in the shop (I can see why now).. Overall - The worst Carribbean food i have ever tasted.Its a shame as this used to be one of the best

Food is tasty but portions are incredibly small and not good value for money. This is what I got for a 'large' jerk chicken + rice meal on deliveroo at 11.50.

Come here all the time. I know carribean food and this place is better than most of the shops around the area for sure. It's a small nice shop. Great customer service from the young man at the front inspiring to engineer. Also very clean . Food not greasy or overpriced. I think this family run business needs more credit for it's good food in the area. Parking: Option to call and place order before arriving.

I thought to myself: never, ever, ever you can go wrong with oxtails, theres no room to mess it up. If you like oil you just buy this! Food tasteless and oily. Maybe you should swap the oil to salt.
