I went on a viewing to rent an apartment at Panorama building in summer 2020 the other 2 reiews are absolutely on point, when it comes to parking, there is no parking outside the building. Also how ridiculous there is a car park under the building but it DOESN'T belong to the building. There were lots of flies at the entrance when I arrived, and also when my cab dropped me off he had to do so at the traffic light, luckily it turned red, there is just a busy main road opposite the leisure centre and steps at the main entrance, there is literally no where to park/pullover at the front entrance, you on a main road with ongoing traffic. If you rent an unfurnished property you are absolutely done for. There are only 2 spaces at the side entrance of the buidling, for probably 100+ apartments, they appear to be loading bays, at first glance, but even then you could get a parking ticket based on the signage and other tenants I spoke to, you still could get a ticket. If any of the following apply: I personally wouldnt rent an apartment here or buy: 1. If its unfurnished, (and you will need deliveries, the lifts are not large, if you expect to have visitors who drive, if you're a family especially with young children and (anyone) who own/rent cars, if you like takeaway deliveries, they absolutely run the risk of tickets, or a very long walk to find parking ie at the large nearby Sainsburys or paying parking in the nearby car park to be safe will be necessary. They only thought about location, profit, and style when developing this building, they were not thinking of practicality. In my opinion. Which is a shame as the views from high up are lovely. UPDATE 08.12.2021 - It`s a shame the owners reply today, from Panorama Apartments, shows they are not able to graciously receive constructive criticism, and its unfortunate that profit was thought about above and beyond the practicality of basic living requirements for its occupants such as parking/drop off bays, decent size lifts to fit furniture in the lift ie a basic single bed would be a squeeze for anyone to get into the lift. The owner says my furniture would not fit in the lifts and that they are glad im not a neighbour, this person(s)/owner does not know me, or my furniture size. Im afraid the owner has not thought about the average persons furniture let alone mine, and Im glad I dont have the worry of parking tickets, flies at the entrance and no front entrance drop off points whatsover as there is no place to jump out of a cab at the front of the building, safely, unless its in traffic or on a main road, or at the traffic light. The back entrance, which is dark and poorly lit late at night isnot a great spot either. Greed never pays, when your designing/developing new apartments, in the long run, people will opt out, or not choose to stay longer term...Good luck to you the owners ....
