As staff, myself and my colleagues have witnessed violence and experienced threats of violence that were sadly not adequately addressed. Unfortunately staff are fearful of some students which means that significantly concerning & reported behaviour continues without action. This impacts learning. Headcount on courses is priority along with funding received. Staff do not tackle bad behaviour as its time consuming & repercussions. . There are some great staff members but also lots of temp employees that lack curriculum knowledge.
