Dapple Grey

We Visted the Dapple Grey as a family of 7 on the 3rd. They had one young girl on the bar who was struggling with the demands of service and it took an age to get served. We ordered 7 meals and drinks. Meals took a long time to come and came at different times with 25 minute gap between 1st and last plate. Food quality us standard pub fare. Would not return.

Very easy ordering at table and three of the four meals went down very well. Two different members of staff came to check the order which was really appreciated. My tip for the staff would be not to ask, "Was everything OK with the food?" If you don't really care about the answer. The Spicy Pulled Pork on the Loaded Fries was too sweet to eat with the burger cheese and even more sweet BBQ sauce. I left most of the meal as I found it simply to be an unpleasant taste sensation, especially when I've ordered something "spicy" with a chilli rating. At best, it was BBQ pulled pork. The response from the member of staff to bring told this was: "It does come up really sweet doesn't it? That's the sauce we have to mix into it. Next time, ask them not to mix the sauce into it. They can do that. " Thanks.
