        This is exactly how an Opticians should operate. Overtly polite, incredibly friendly and helpful. Situated in a grand Old House in the centre of town adjacent to a large car park. It is privately owned and the service is light years ahead of the generic High St operators. Mr McCracken himself conducted my daughters assessment with excellent enthusiasm for a man who conducts this task every day of the week. Clearly an expert, putting the 12 Yr old at ease, thorough and competent, explaining his actions at every stage. We went back the following day having been given an open appointment by the courteous receptionist Sarah, to see dispensing Optician Nigel, who was as professional, interested, thorough and caring. A good listener and provided good options for my daughter to select a pair of react to light glasses. A first class experience.
