A quite splendid little museum, staffed by exceedingly friendly volunteers who thoroughly deserve you popping in! Whilst the four cottages comprising the museum are over 400 years old, the rooms and exhibitions are bright, informative and up-to-date and the whole place is smart and lovingly cared for. Tea or coffee, cakes or crumpets in the front room are a must - or in the rear garden area on a fine day - then you can finish your visit by browsing the many pre-owned books on sale. A little gem of a place!
