        Again, excellent five star service from Walter Tipper Uttoxeter staff, they couldn't be more helpful and obliging. Unfortunately, on this occasion I'm knocking three stars off for what I consider to be an excessive delivery charge. I've had to pay 48 (40+VAT) on top of the cost a ton bag of decorative slate and some decking boards, for a local delivery less than two miles from the yard to my home which took about 10 minutes to complete. I wouldn't have minded so much if mine had been a special delivery but the lorry was loaded with several other separate local deliveries, all costing 48 each. These delivery charges surely must more than cover driver's wages for the delivery and vehicle running costs. Fuel prices have now dropped and I think this charge should be reduced accordingly.
