This was our first visit on the recommendation of a friend who lives nearby. We certainly weren't disappointed. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We sat in the conservatory, which overlooked the gardens. The food was delicious. My husband thoroughly enjoyed the Steak and ale pie. I had the sweet potato and lentil cottage pie. Something a little different. I really enjoyed it. I had to take home some in a box as there was so much.

Nice community pub with nice staff. Will avoid quiz night though as quite busy. Food seems very, very good
