I received a Gladys for Xmas. I know these are extremely expensive and I was surprised by the relatively low quality. There are various chips out of the wood (on areas folding onto the bars when not in use) and more importantly the top bar is warped, as you can see in the picture. I'm surprised the wood is untreated (won't be long before it looks a bit dingy and mouldy like my Gnu). Also, the thing is hard to store when not in use. So all in all I'd recommend spending much less of your 170 on a large free-standing Z shaped airer you can collapse and also easily move around the kitchen when you want to use the Aga to cook - you can't use it when the AF is connected smothered in washing.
