SPAR

After being in the queue for a while and next but one to be served was asked if payment was one a card. So was directed to the self checkout, scanned in my 3 items and the multi buy discount didn't appear. I asked the lady and she checked at her side leaving me with a cashier controlling screen and served the person behind me. I advised my screen wasn't showing my transaction so this was rectified, I then asked about the multi buy as pictured I was advised that the deal was 2 for 3.30, so paid and went to check as doubted myself. I was correct the deal advertised was 2 x Pepsi max for 3. If you buy from here check recipt as when I questioned the price on the shelf to what was charged was told I had to pay the new price as they had increased their prices, I told them they should honour the advertised cost, I had to prise the cost from the shelf doing their job as proof of advertised cost and was told no. If I have the misfortune of calling at these services again I will spend my money anywhere but spar and will think twice about spending in any spar.

This shop looks really good and with a name like spar you expect great offers and great prices, well you would be wrong as it is extortionately overpriced even for a service station, WH Smith is also overpriced but not as much as this place.
