Beautiful setting - our room had a river view. That's where the positive review ends. One side of our double bed (2 separate mattresses zipped together) had bed springs poking through - The bed was not fit to sleep in. It woke my husband every time he moved during the night. When the next morning he politely asked for an extra duvet to cover the mattress, the staff member immediately said to the manager " this customer is complaining about the bed in Room 1". The reply was "That's a brand new mattress!" They didn't even come - nothing was done. On our last morning at breakfast I asked for boiled egg instead of poached as the poached had been a plate of slop previously, the reply was "No". At breakfast times they supplied a full coffee pot and a selection of teabags but on neither morning did they provide hot water for the tea!! We had to wait until the waitress had served up the fried breakfasts before she came round for tea orders. We will not be returning.
