Please be aware that DOGS ARE NOT ALLOWED in this garden. By mistake we arrived with two dogs on leads and behaviour of Rosamund Wallinger was absolutely dreadful! I understand that she doesnt want to have dogs in her garden because of her dogs and hens. But it should be clear on websites and/or other sites. And if someone arrives here with dogs Rosamund Wallinger should be more polite and understandable. I was thinking about visiting this garden on my own later that day but her behaviour put me off.

What a stunning garden! Worth every penny of the entrance fee. The only reason it's only open on weekdays is that this delightful garden is someone's home. The owners are so welcoming and knowledgeable - it was so lovely to meet them. They are also in the garden working and very willing to stop and chat. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

This place is a little slice of heaven. The gardens are beautiful, the folk who have tended them are wonderful and there is a feeling of real tranquility about the place.

Excellent garden. Loved everything about it. Even had a little walk into the village and back. On a warm day it was lovely to sit by the lak.
